Denia es una ciudad de la Comunidad Valenciana, España, situada en la costa norte de la provincia de Alicante. Se trata de la capital de la comarca de la Marina Alta, también conocida como «Marquesado de Denia». Los inviernos son cortos y apacibles y, los veranos, largos y cálidos. De hecho, tan suave y plácido es el clima de Dénia que hasta hay un monumento en la propia ciudad alabando su bonanza climática.
